Post and Core Build-Up.
Rebuilding the foundation of severely damaged teeth. We create a rock-solid structural core inside teeth that have undergone root canals, ensuring your crown lasts a lifetime.
Who is this for?
Necessary for patients whose tooth has lost massive amounts of its natural structure due to severe decay or fracture, leaving nothing to hold a crown.
Our 3-Step Pain-Free Protocol
Post Space Preparation
A small portion of the root canal filling is safely removed to create space for a high-strength post inside the root.
Post Cementation
A biocompatible fiber or metal post is securely bonded deep inside the root, acting like reinforcing rebar in concrete.
Core Build-Up
Strong composite material is packed around the post to rebuild the top half of the tooth, providing a perfect base for the final crown.
Nothing Left to Hold Onto
When a tooth suffers from massive decay, or snaps off at the gumline, there simply isn't enough healthy tooth structure left standing above the gums. Even if a root canal successfully cures the infection, a standard dental crown cannot be placed. Without a solid foundation to grip onto, any crown you place will quickly snap off or fail under the heavy pressure of normal chewing.
Architectural Reinforcement
A Post and Core procedure solves this exact mechanical problem. Think of it as placing steel rebar inside a concrete pillar. We insert a medical-grade post deep into the sterilized root canal, which anchors the entire structure to the jaw. We then build a strong composite "core" around this post, essentially growing the tooth back up from the root. This provides a rock-solid, incredibly stable foundation upon which your final protective crown can be permanently cemented.

No Cost EMI AvailableCommon Questions about Post & Core
Does placing the post hurt?
Not at all. Since the tooth has already had a root canal, the nerve is gone. You will not feel any pain or sensitivity while the post is being placed.
Do all root canals need a post and core?
No. If the tooth still has a good amount of thick, healthy walls remaining after the decay is removed, a simple filling might be enough before the crown is placed. We only use posts when structurally necessary.
Will the post cause my root to fracture?
We use modern, flexible fiber posts that mimic the natural elasticity of tooth dentin. This advanced material significantly reduces the risk of root fractures compared to older, rigid metal posts.
Are you in pain?
We reserve emergency slots every day for patients requiring immediate root canal pain relief.
