Painless Root Canals.

A root canal here takes 45 minutes, start to finish. You'll be numb before we begin. The pain you came in with is from the infection. The procedure ends it. You leave the same day with your tooth saved.

Who is this for?

Crucial for patients experiencing severe, throbbing tooth pain, swelling, or extreme hot/cold sensitivity caused by a deep internal bacterial infection.

Our 3-Step Clinical Protocol

Digital scan diagnosing root canal infection
1

Diagnosis first

A digital scan shows exactly where the infection is and which canals are involved. Nothing is touched until we have the full picture.

Painless removal of infected pulp tissue
2

Numb, then treat

Numbing gel first, then the anaesthetic. You feel neither. The infected tissue is removed using rotary instruments finer than a strand of hair.

Sealed root canal with custom ceramic crown
3

Seal and protect

Canals are sterilised, sealed, and covered with a custom ceramic crown. Your tooth is back to full function. The infection is gone.

The Problem

What's causing that pain

The pulp is the living tissue at the centre of your tooth — blood vessels, nerve fibres, and connective tissue packed into a space the width of a drinking straw. When bacteria reach it through a deep cavity or a crack, they infect this tissue. The resulting inflammation has nowhere to go — the tooth is rigid — and that pressure is what causes the severe, unrelenting pain. The longer it goes untreated, the more the infection spreads into the surrounding bone, forming an abscess and threatening neighbouring teeth.

The Solution

How we fix it in one visit

We make you completely numb first — there is no point beginning until you cannot feel anything. We then access the inside of the tooth, remove all the infected tissue using rotary files smaller than a ballpoint pen tip, and sterilise the canals with a medicant that eliminates bacteria at the microscopic level. Finally we seal the canal with a biocompatible material and cover the tooth with a ceramic crown. The infection is gone, the pain is gone, and you have your natural tooth. The procedure takes 45 minutes. The relief is immediate.

"

"I was terrified. Hadn't slept in two days because of the pain. The whole thing took less than an hour and I felt nothing. I actually nodded off in the chair."

Common Questions about Root Canals

Does a root canal hurt?

Not anymore. With modern anesthetics, a root canal is no more uncomfortable than getting a standard cavity filling. The pain you feel before you arrive is the infection; our treatment cures the pain.

How many visits will this take?

Using our advanced rotary technology, most root canals at Pramukh Dental are completed in a single, 45-minute sitting. The crown placement typically happens in a short second visit.

Why do I need a crown afterwards?

After a root canal, the tooth no longer has its internal blood supply, making it brittle. A crown acts like a helmet, protecting the tooth from fracturing when you chew.
